Jalapeño Beans
This recipe can help spice up ordinary canned beans into something a little more flavorful.
2 (15-ounce) cans ranch-style beans
1/2 jalapeño pepper, finely diced
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, stir together the beans, jalapeño, and black pepper.
YIELD: 6 SERVINGS
TIP: You can adjust the spiciness to your own taste. If you like more heat, you can add more jalapeño pepper, or leave the seeds in when you cut it, or add more jalapeño; if you like less heat, use a little less jalapeño.
